Thanks to you both...that's the first time I've ever seen heavy juice on the street! The closest I've ever experienced the C&AE was at Illinois Railway Museum in 1987. They were foolish enough to let a 17 year old kid from Orange Empire Railway Museum run their car to the end of the line on a sultry Illinois country afternoon. All windows open. Block signals. Track speed!....something I've never forgotten.
