Agreed! We lived near Austin for 10 years, before retirement traveling. Returned 3 years ago and have been watching the speedy decline in the General Austin area. Bums, bums, and more bums. The Austin mayo has recently been a focus of the National news. His actions are symptomatic. The rail lines are definitely not supported. Our CapMetro from Leander into Austin is like riding a ghost train! Once in the city, a rider has to be confronted with so many so called "homeless" that cause concern for safety. Bums. And, yes, I understand that there are many that we see that really are in need of help. We see, we just don't.
