Answer is no. Williams had a mechanic and one or two others in McCloud earlier this year, the mechanic got the #38 operable and drew up a list of parts to put the long dead #36 back in service, some other cleaned up the shop inside and out including consolidating all the parts and pieces of busted up railcars to one giant pile behind the shop. However, as of a couple weeks ago the track crew that was supposed to arrive to patch the line back together so they could start moving cars in hasn't yet appeared.

In the meantime Williams is right about now dropping about $2 million to purchase the old Nevada Northern mainline north of McGill Junction from the NN museum, foundation, City of Ely, and White Pine County, part of a settlement agreement ending a long period of litigation between the parties.
