Not to be a smartass but Boise is on a branch not run by the UP, as to the other question, the
Blue mountain pass which is the real bottleneck is already pretty much double track and beyond
that the passing sidings are fairly well placed. Until UP gets their crew issues in line they're
going to have terminal bottlenecks. They change crews away from the yard to bypass the trains
without power or crews tieing up the line. Salt Lake some days is seven trains deep waiting to
get into the yard. Also they seem to still be clustering trains which adds to the tie up, case in
point Elko to Sparks.
