Is this a problem for you? Perhaps it is because there were still quite a few around, especially for use by light rail systems that wanted a "retro" operation, such as San Francisco, San Diego, El Paso, Kenosha, etc. And, I don't know if those cars should be considered "preserved" since they're in actual revenue service. I'm sure we would all like to see more Niles wooden cars or maybe nice Cincinnati curved-sides running around or in museums, but where are they?
