Shortline Sammie tried to buy Chehalis Western / Curtis, Milburn & Eastern / Chehalis Western ( again ) # 684, but was outbid by City of Fife. A certain NW railfan with connections to City of Fife convinced them 684 had regularly operated in Fife & Port of Tacoma, which was total BULL $#!t. It sits Stuffed & Mounted in Dacca Park in Fife,WA.
