The NP line never went to Burlington. From Snohomish to Sumas it more or less paralleled SR9.
The track was taken up north of Arlington all the way to Sedro-Woolley soon after the merger. The exNP track from Sedro-Woolley north to Sumas is now part of the BNSF system and is connected to the old GN via a GN branchline track that runs from Burlington to Sedro-Woolley. The portion of the branch east of there has also been removed.
