While on the subject of Yakima...

As part of their bi-centennial celebration, the City of Yakima obtain to Brill single truck cars from Oporto an, after some complex negotiations with the Ewe Pee, got permission to haul passengers over YVT track from Yakima to Selah. The 1776 (the other is 1976)is about to take the switch off Pine St. onto 6th and head out the line to Selah in July of 1978.

The red & white pick up with the camper in the distance is my '72 F250
