And remember, folks, it's VERRRRRY important for all of us to follow the advice of our politcians and utility companies when it comes to conserving electricity and water. Why? So that land developers can come in and build 10,000 more new houses and the accompanying fast food joints and strip malls.

If there's one good thing about this economic downturn, it's that it's placing a brake on runaway urbanization. Temporarily, unfortunately.
