Mr Harris - When you find an identifiable and verifiable example of liberal media, with attention to the Latin root of the word, please be so kind as to emblazon this for all to see. It is my firm conviction that, especially in connection with transportation and more specifically railroads
(of ALL varieties past and present) the appearance of book learning is pitiably absent, as so much rubbish is bandied about as near-gospel. This is especially the case with the Associated Press, with examples too numerous to list. The A.P. is not notably identifiable as something you would denounce as "liberal" In reference to credibility, one finds credulity strained by such as James Moore III. Wendell Cox, Ron Utt (great name!), and Randal O'Toole, all alleged "libertarian", or "conservative" commentors (my more accurate neologism) whose feather-headed blatherings are given entirely too much credence in the general press. Let me also assert that outside the walls of Academe, specifically the San Jose,Ca. public library there are superb railroad history resources, most of which I have resorted to in the now ever more remote past and are, I hope still available. Anyone who grew up in California should be neck deep in railroad history, given the supreme importance played by the S.P. alone Apologies for the punctuation,
