Nope. It never had a steam generator.

What you're seeing is a 1700 gallon fuel tank that could be modified to carry 400 gallons of diesel fuel and 1200 gallons of Bunker C 'heavy' fuel for the dual fuel system SP tested on many units during the late Fifties. It was never installed in this unit, and it was always strictly diesel fueled.
