A few years ago I wrote an article on the MILW tunnel clearance project of 1960 & '61 for the Milwaukee Road Historical Assn. For the benefit of this thread here is a list of the MILW's transcon mainline tunnels compiled from company engineering records. You'll notice the tunnel names don't always correspond with the station location. Notice there were two tunnels (#51 and #52) that once existed west of Snoqualmie Tunnel. --Brent
