The Washington ferry system is in a mess right now. When they lost the SEs, rust buckets that they were, a lot were affected in Port Townsend and the Olympic Peninsula. Now a similar situation exist ins the southern Vashon Island crossing with the substitution of a smaller boat.
Now the eternal bleat of no money will ensure that no relief will be forthcoming in the immediate future!
