Every registered voter got to give their opinion. People voted yes or no for various reasons. This can be seen by the fact that 6% of Democrats voted for the recall and 11% of Republicans voted against the recall. Remember these percentages can change a small amount as votes postmarked by election day have a week to arrive. But any change in percent will be microscopic in the general scheme of things.
