Webb's Photo in San Jose was a Kodak dealer. They had three stores, one in downtown San Jose, the other in Willow Glen (part of San Jose) and another on Redwood St. next to the Valley Fair shopping center. As long as they got the film by around 4:30, it would be back the following afternoon. Like a lot of photo stores. they gradually went away with Redwood St. being the last. That location is now buried the new and OH SO WONDERFUL Westfield's Valley Fair and teenage playground.
You could also take the film to 925 Page Mill, drop it off and have it returned to Webb's or any Kodak store, usually the next day.
I believe it was both ground and sewer contamination which forced Kodak to close down the facility. They opened a smaller facility in San Leandro on Merced St. but that only lasted a few years unitl the EPA got them too.
