Buying ,selling and developing land is far more profitable than running a tourist railroad. Especially a tourist railroad that is land locked with no outside connection. The whole deal sounds a little shady but if some of the profits from the land deal goes back into reopening the Skunk line so be it.They need to reopen Willits to Fort Bragg with track class and speed above excepted track.
