The West Side should be a good choice, Dave,

and you'll probably find a few more of us miscreants out doing likewise on Friday. UP's Lodi Local, now based at Polk in south Sacramento, has been making regular forways up the Ione Branch to Indian Hill on Fridays. If you're looking for the ever-rare Class One branchline, this is another possibility. No idea when they actually get on the branch, tho'--likely around noon.
