My wife works for a female Dentist in Puget Sound. The dentist's husband has 10+ years as Engineer with BNSF, and HATES the recent changes (" points " system as described above - No mainline work but force assigned to local yard work - treated like $#!t -- NO life ) He has quit BNSF - to become a dental assistant !!! I have ( so far ) talked him out of his first choice for a career change -- Truck Driver -- by pointing out that his personal life will NOT improve as a " NEWBY " truck driver; they get all the $#!t work & hours.
