The historic Santa Fe 4-8-4 3751 will again steam from Los Angeles to San Diego, roundtrip. This trip, set for Sunday May 3, will recreate the epic trip of last June. This time, the train will feature an open door baggage car and more dome seats. A photo servicing and run-by stop is planned at a remote location. Sponsors Central Coast Railway Club and Pacific Locomotive Association are again teaming with the 3751 operators and the partner railroads on the Surfliner route to run at speeds up to 60 mph.

Fares for this rare and exciting excursion are $99 childs fare,$169 coach and $269 for dome seats. We will leave Los Angeles Union Station at 7:45 am and arrive in San Diego at 12:45 pm. The train will be turned so there will be no backward riding. Scheduled arrival back at LAUS is 9:15 PM.
