Here's another photo of NdeM Train 314 that Steve Brown and I rode on March 03, 1997 from Yurecuaro to Los Reyes in the state of Michoacan. The train was willing to make conditional flag stops at every station along the line except for three stations, Zamora, Moreno and Tinguindin, where there were designated, established stops. This is the hamlet of Moreno at Kilometer Post 70, where we stopped for about five or ten minutes---long enough to get off and take some pictures.

This photo was taken about five months before the train was discontinued and, in the ensuing twenty-five years, the track has been torn up and most of the line has been turned into either a trail or a road. There was little or no freight traffic on the line so the track was probably removed shortly after NdeM ceased to exist and the private concessioanaires took over the operation of the national rail system.

Here's a Google aerial photo that shows where Moreno is and it appears that the train station is still there. You can "zoom back" from this aerial image to see where everything is in the grand scheme of things and easily trace where the railroad was as it ran in and out of the town.
