MerThank you OPRRMS! Great photo by Photobob on the 280 6th St. offramp under construction.

This thread brought up another question. When and why did the SP alter the trackwork in the passenger yard? Was it to accomodate the relocation of the station to 4th St.?

Here's the 1948 aerial to show the old arrangement with the trackmap overlay showing the new arrangement.
