I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's all a well-thought-out plan by the Biden administration to generate more voting Democrats. Here's how it will work:
(1.) Make the working conditions so horrendous that a job on the railroad becomes one of those added to the ever-growing list of
"jobs that Americans won't do."
(2.) To alleviate the manpower shortages, the Biden administration will start a guest worker program, similar to the Bracero program of the 1950s, where Mexican and Indian (dot, not feather) railroaders can come to the U.S.A. on extended work visas and work on the railroads for lousy wages and horrific conditions. Compared to the countries they left, those conditions are not so bad. Since they'll be making "competitive" (read: "crappy") wages, ten or fifteen of them can wedge themselves into a studio apartment and they can take public transportation to and from the rail facility where they'll be going on and off duty.
The list of impoverished Third World countries that could supply these railroaders doesn't necessarily have to be limited to Mexico and India.
(3.) After six months or so, the Biden administration will offer citizenship to all these people (so they can vote) and they'll be so overjoyed at being able to come to America to be exploited that they will happily vote Democratic in all categories down the ballot until their dying day.
The Republicans will witness all of this taking place and, as they've illustrated in previous situations similar to this, will conduct hearings on Capitol Hill to investigate the arrangement and then write sternly worded letters to various parties and b i t c h about it on Fox News.
The secret flights in the wee hours of the morning that the Biden administration is operating as part of their human trafficking endeavor are already ferrying a large number of these future Democratic voters into various regions of the country. I'm sure corporate and stockholder enthusiasm for all of these new workers who are willing to be exploited while making crappy wages will not be limited to just the railroad industry. Silicon Valley perfected this scam years ago and, not surprisingly, other industries are now jumping on the bandwagon.
