Only a lawyer would present such numbers without providing any qualification, and with an appeal to authority, and then insult the other person by telling them to go "play in the right-of-way."
So, dear lawyer, is "renewables" a gross output number? Or is it a net output number after the non-renewable inputs have been subtracted out? Holy shite, what if it turns out that some "renewables" have a net negative contribution?
What if corn ethanol just increases the non-renewable total?
Gee willikers, Wally, is it possible lawyers and politicians would deceive us just to make themselves some coin?
"Yes, Ladies and gentlemen, this bottle of fermented corn will cure all our energy problems.
Pay no attention to the fine print."
