The good news is, the SD9 that IERHS currently owns needs some stuff to make it work. The SD9 currently in Skykomish has the stuff the other SD9 needs. The plan is to have one fully operating, functional locomotive...and if there's enough of the second locomotive to be stuffed and mounted, so much the better.

Versus two SD9s, neither of which are very useful. Kudos to the group in Skykomish who tried really hard, but in the long run this will be a win.
