RR strike Amtrak effects

Amtrak itself hasn't said anything much about it, but Capitol Corridor has issued a notice that they will shut down indefinitely on Thursday Sept 15 if the RR strike goes ahead.

One might logically presume the same applies to all Amtrak service other than, possibly, the NE Corridor, as well as any other passenger service operated on a freight railroad.

I'd be reluctant to start a long-distance trip on Amtrak today if the train is scheduled to arrive after tomorrow.
