Which is EXACTLY the type of business model Amtrak and the "host railroads" dream of. Those pesky long-haul trains operating on "host railroad" tracks are a pain in the you-know-what.

The sooner Steve Gardner can get rid of the long haul trains, the bigger feather "Alzheimer's 46" will place in his cap. Gardner may even get a promotion where he'll be in charge of leash purchases and dog fetish face masks for DOE employee Sam Brinton and he can also shop around for additional leather Satanic harnesses for that other Biden cabinet member, Demetre Daskalakis.
