Well I found some info on the name, “Jennings Yard.”

In 1952 when Roseville was expanded to include a hump yard with retarders, SP named it Jennings Yard after then Sacramento Division Superintendent M.L. Jennings. At what point it lost the name I'm not sure. I wonder if in time Roseville will be called Davis yard?
