Sites Reservoir

They say the planned "Sites Reservoir" west of Maxwell, CA will serve four F's: Farms, Families, Fish, & Fowl. Is there any opposition to it yet? Sacred burial grounds, etc?

Railroad-related content: Southern Pacific West Valley Line runs through Maxwell. I wonder if CFNR (Cal. Northern) is keeping alive?

I went to street view in Maxwell and the town looks old and interesting.
