A no-brainer if the tracks were still in place. With Conrail ripping out the Reading tracks between Philly and Reading things are considerably more complicated due to development that has taken place on the old ROW.

But nothing that can't be overcome with lots of tax dollars. Just allow PA politicians time to buy up all the property involved to resell to the rail authority at greatly inflated prices. Can't ignore PA traditions in the name of progress.

From me, a very jaded PA resident, taxpayer and railfan.
