Where have you been?? They were retired long ago. All the ones UP didn't own (they leased 'em from EMD) were returned to the lessor; the ones 20 or 21 UP did own were stored for years, then retired, and most have been scrapped. Those tha thave not been scrapped are just waiting their turn from room at the scrapyard.

The first iteration of the 265H engine had all kinds of problems, many of which might have been solvable with a long testing program before they were put into locomotives and sold. In the event, no field testing was done, so the problems cropped up in real freight service, the last place that needed such troubles.
