Correct, however the Reno Branch is largely built on the former right of way of the Nevada - California - Oregon Rwy., a narrow gauge line that ran from Reno to Lakeview, OR. This line HAS grades. Back in WP days a set of engines " tied down " at Stead Yard ran away & derailed just before hitting a LNG unloading facility.
