Amazing, Brian and his brainwashed minions are completely incapable of letting it go. They continue beating this dead horse instead of doing something more productive with their time. I actually encountered heavy traffic on CA-1 last Friday, and it was NOT fun. Ripping up the rails and replacing it with a trail isn't gonna solve traffic congestion, it's just gonna make it worse because walking from Aptos to Santa Cruz for work will take too long, and not everyone owns a bike or even knows HOW to ride a bike (like me, for example).
