Gosh;

Contractors have already replaced all the switches and track in the station and in the leads. All the turnouts now have concrete ties.

The connector track past Mission tower is used daily for every long distance train taken to the Amtrak yard from the station.

They want to upgrade the signal system and TEST it. That likely includes the West bank main around Mission tower too.

My only question is are they going to stop the train near J yard to swap crews and bus those who wish to go to LA Station?

You consultant types should get out more.
