This is what I read on Facebook:

Santa Fe engineer scared the h*ll out of the SP mechanical dept. rider on the units when they hit over 100 mph near Oro Grande....
The SP units were geared 60/17 for a max speed of 79 mph and the Santa Fe units they were used to were geared 58/19 for a max speed of 100, but Santa Fe used to run them over that
