My first and only cab ride came 17 years ago, when my wife and I spent Thanksgiving in Napa. We rode the Napa Valley Wine Train, and after the trip I was hanging around at the front of the train. One of the engine crew asked me if I wanted to ride from the station down to the yard, so of course I jumped at the opportunity.
