It takes "time" to select a Supt., especially with the Holidays in the way. It's possible those looking for a Superintendent slot are not crawling over each other to apply......but
there's got to be a stepping stoner out there somewhere. I shared an NPS career with a guy who would have been in line to apply for that job and he never talked about the place let alone showed any desire to work there. He retired to become a state railroad museum director. Maybe someone from the "outside" will get the job?
