Besides San Clemente and Del Mar, there are a couple of other spots on the L.A.-San Diego line that deserve some attention. One is between Laguna Niguel and San Juan Capistrano where the track is on a narrow shelf above San Juan Creek and another spot is in Camp Pendleton where an arroyo / fissure is working its way inland from the coast and is getting pretty close to the railroad.
