What ever happened to the Fremont and Elkhorn Valley RR in Nebraska

What ever happened to the Fremont and Elkhorn Valley RR operating out of Fremont NE? At one time they had steam operation with the same US army 2-8-0 that's in North Carolina. I also know that in the 90s they ran a dinner train. They even had an at grade crossing with the BN which they had priority on because their predecessor (C+ NW was there first)I think most of the track was removed and rumors of an accident. Any information would be appreciated.
