I didn't know the ex-CZ dinning car 2nd behind the road power was still used at that late date! When I rode DRGW Train #17 back in September 1982, they were using an ex-UP Dinning Car. I was told that the ex-CZ Dinning car had deteriorated beyond repair and that is why DRGW went to UP and purchased one of their's.
