Not necessarily all tourist traffic between LA and Vegas. I don't know what the percentage is, but I have run into several employees in various parts of the Vegas entertainment industry who commute there from LA on weekends. They want the LA lifestyle and environment but have found employment difficult to obtain (at least at wages to meet the LA cost of living), whereas it's plentiful in Vegas. So they're essentially weekday residents in LA, weekend workers in Vegas. I am sure many of these people would readily take the train.
