The Nickel Plate 765 has a familiar face. I remember seeing it inside the Conneaut, Ohio roundhouse in 1958 in very good shape while the newer 770 class berkshires were sitting outside in pretty forlorn condition. I didn't know at the time that the 750's and 760's built during the War had roller bearings whereas the 770's(Lima 1949) had been cheaped out with solid bearings.
