The unions need to stay in their lane. They can negotiate better wages and working conditions for their members. They have no business getting involved in a conflict that's been going on for hundreds of years on the other side of the planet.

There are a lot of ills in this world and unions are foolish if they think their involvement will miraculously make a decisive difference. What they're doing is a good way to drive off a lot of their members in disgust. That's not very SMART.
