It *could* be about Caltrain F40s, though. They are mostly running locomotives, if a tad old (early F40 production). But they're "California Cars" with relatively little exposure to rust. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if VIA were to grab a few for scrap value and use them to fill holes in the roster after a rebuild. When's the auction final?
