Thanks for the link.

I rode the WP&Y from Whitehorse to Skagway back in 1969 if memory is correct.

All day ride with stop at Lake Bennett for lunch.

Stayed overnite in Skagway the returned to Whitehorse and finished the drive to Anchorage.

Fantastic sites, and I'll never forget the cars/trucks and buses on flatcars ahead of the passenger cars. I too, got a visit to the cab once we got to Skagway, as my father was engineer on GN/BN. Never forget we had to stop and let the brakes cool down after coming down the mountain, they were smoking good!
