It's good to know that the video of Japanese trains after the war got you so excited.
When exactly were China and Japan US "colonies", or did I miss something in US History class?
I read Adam Smith and therefore learned about the benefits to the consumer of free trade in free and open competitive market economies. Thus, I don't tend to share the ill formed and populist sophomoric Marxist and/or Protectionist views that some hold, and do not fear free trade because I understand the theory of comparative advantage and the benefits to both consumers and producers from free, open, and fair trade.
Of course, I kind of like lur history of American inventiveness and the benefits that our industrial and technological revolution have given us and shared with the world. So, I don't tend hold and/or feign some kind of a false pseudo-Marxist sounding guilty narrative of America's technological contributions to the modern world.
