Big news for Barstow!

BLM California has approved a land sale that will support the Barstow International Gateway project. This innovative facility will:

• Create approximately 20,000 new jobs
• Help reduce freeway congestion around the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach
• Transfer goods more efficiently between international and domestic containers
• Represent a $1.5 billion infrastructure investment

The 30-acre public land parcel was identified as suitable for sale as it's surrounded by private lands with no public access.
