It seems a history lesson is in order . Schellville depot with the 'c' was the NWP depot. Southern Pacific competed for traffic and had their depot spelled without the 'c' to avoid routing confusion. The former SP depot at the old lumber yard location was also the Shellville post office. This depot with national rail interchange via SP was far more important and active than NWP's local line to Tiburon and Sausalito. Any SP timetable from 1895 to its demise in 1934 would spell Shellville without the "C" Photos of this depot exist. Fred Stindt book (the Bible) of the NWP even has NWP timetables spelling Schellville without the 'C' Page 285. You are correct to point out the Schell ranch.
