From the full skirt, the diner right behind the dome looks to be a Burlington car, possibly one of the CZ cars, although other Burlington diners had full skirts as well.

I rode the SFZ that month, Sacramento to Ogden, but the day we went east, it was snowing heavily over Donner and SP added 5 freight units ahead of the SDP40Fs from Roseville to Sparks.
