I couldn't agree more. The bigger concern is museums failing than preserving one of these historically insignificant locomotives. But Gen Z will just sit around doing stuff like this and creating wiki pages instead of volunteering somewhere to help preserve and restore what has already been set aside.

There are more than enough museums and preservation organizations dying to get people to help do anything let alone give money or patronize their excursion trains
(beyond putting a drone in the air and post the photos on Facebook). This "we have to save everything" mindset does more harm than good.
