Current procurement cancelled by the Gold Line Extension Authority after only one bid was received, and was 54% over estimates. FWIW, the bid was for barely under $1B ($994 million), for only 3.2 miles. Blaming Trump Tariffs, etc. And that's even after making project changes suggested by the bidder to theoretically reduce cost.

www.sgvtribune.com], they'll now look at doing separate design and build contracts (this is what happens when there's little or no in-house technical expertise and have to contract out everything). Frankly, it's unlikely that the project can resume until the next Administration, if then.
At least, the line to Pomona appears to be ready to open soon.
